BACHELOR BRAD GIVES HIS ALL FOR THE RED CROSS

This season on The Bachelor, Brad Womack took some of the girls to a Hollywood soundstage to shoot public service announcements on behalf of the American Red Cross. January is National Blood Donor Month, and Brad and the Bachelorettes put all they had into the spots, which will air in the January 10th episode of The Bachelor.

Given Brad’s propensity to have fun no matter what the situation, he decided to use comedy as his recruitment tool for the Red Cross. “The reason we are doing these over-the-top scenes is to show people that giving blood is not dramatic, it’s easy to do,” says Brad.

But it’s not only about making public service announcements; Brad wants to make sure all of the show’s fans give blood through the Red Cross. Every Bachelor and Bachelorette who comes on the show is not only looking for love, they’re also firmly committed to using their power as public figures to make a positive difference in the world. Three seasons ago, we established a segment called “The Bachelor Gives Back,” in which our cast members work together to help make the world a better place.

As part of our continuing effort to help, Brad and Chris Harrison, along with former cast members will be on hand at the Woodland Hills Red Cross Donor Center on Saturday, January 8th to support a local blood drive.
