Not sure they “knocked boots”. Seems like that would be really hard to do standing up in the ocean with the waves and all. Not to mention how much drinking has been going on. Be funny if they attempted but couldn’t finish because of his drinking. Poor Ben. He is such a boy. He is gonna get eatten alive by that scarey girl. He obviously isn’t the shy guy we thought he was!

Ben deserves Courtney. He PICKED Courtney the moment he choose to do that. If he picked any other girl in the end it wouldn’t have lasted past that episode and that is a fact. He is not in this for love, lust more like. On to bigger and better things, let’s have some integrity morals and respect with our next bachelor. Girls like men, my boys.

Pretty sure they knocked boots. Also odd that Ben keeps Emily around after warning her to mind her own business twice. Why not send her home when its clear Courtney is the one he wants? What’s so ironic however he says he wants to come clean with the girls about the skinny dipping (but doesn’t) ehoes that of Ashley Hebert’s situation in Hong Kong when she told the remaining men about Bentley. Would the girls reacted the same way? Probably worse. Heck they all might do a Micky McLean and leave! I’ll give points to Ben though for keeping quiet. Nothing wrong with skinny dipping with someone you like but with 9 other women still around maybe it would have been better had it been closer to the final four or AFTER the show had wrapped up. It was just done too early!

i think courtney is hysterical! the other girls on this season are SOOOO BORING. snooze fest really. courtney is evil, sadistic, sarcastic…basically what i want to see in a reality “love” show. anyone who thinks that this show is about finding love is delusional. how many seasons has it been, 22? 23? and one couple worked out (trista and ryan). this show is about the experience, having fun and fame. period. can’t wait to see all the drama that explodes once everyone knows ben chose courtney. going to be a crazy!

and no i haven’t lost respect for ben – never had any to begin with!

I am not really a huge fan of yours based off comments I’ve heard you make in last years “Bachelorette Smackdown” so I kinda went in to reading this blog with a grain of salt. I find your comment about “every guy needing to know how to throw a baseball” really dumb but to each his own.

With that said, this blog was surprisingly pleasant and inoffensive. I was really happy to see that

If I try and say that I don’t like Courtney on the show, I would be lying. Because honestly, at this point, Courtney gets more screen time than Ben. She has the running commentary through the entire episode. Nothing happens on the show without us hearing Courtney’s opinions about it as she cradles her little goblet of blood (aka glass of red wine). I think without Courtney this season would be incredibly boring because Ben doesn’t really have the dynamic personality to carry the show. A problem I have often noticed with the protagonists of the show. Whether thats their actual fault or the producer editing to only show certain aspects of the Bachelorette and Bachelor that makes this series very one-note.

I think that this season is just pointing a lot of flaws and showing that a lot goes in to casting. And casting pretty girls or handsome guys that arent allowed to show any forms of real personality besides their “sad backstory” is not going to have viewers connect.

For gods sakes I just want to see one date where someone gets asked what their favorite book or movie is. But I guess it’s too much to expect…

We all knew this episode was coming and I was disgusted then. BUT what killed ALL my respect for Ben was watching him deliberately take Kacie B aside and give her the rose. Then he gets his engine oiled by Courtney! Ugg!

You can tell that Courtney has her legs wrapped around Ben in the ocean. There`s no question they boinked! again – Ugg!

I hope all them ladies find out and walk away. I`d never continue with a man who just did the dirty dog with a dirty dog! So disrespectful.

Wonder if he called his family to heads-up them on his `moment of weakness`. I bet his dear sister and mama weren`t too keen when they had this eye full. I can`t wait to hear from his sister after this is all over. Ben you are in big doggie doo-doo when sis gets hold of you.

The `After The Rose Show` can`t come soon enough for me!

David can you address the “final 4″ on the first nite that Jesse and Richard discussed in their Smackdown? I am also still curious if Ben will be accepted into the Bachelor Family. I agree with your added comments about the hooking up. At a later time it is expected, but not now with 9 other girls still in the house. Surely this doesnt abide by the “Man Code” rules.
