David Good’s Bachelor Pad Blog: Episode 4

We start off this week at the END of last week’s Rose Ceremony.  I REMEMBER THIS GAME!  Chris hands them all questionnaires to fill out.  OH NOOOOO.  Is this gonna be another challenge that people have to answer questions about each other in the house…YEP!

This game can be super hurtful to everyone especially the girls.  I am pretty thick skinned.  I grew up in sports and kinda in the spotlight from a young age.  I am used to being called names and kids and crowds screaming mean things.  You have to take the good and the bad and let the bad just roll off and laugh.  It comes with the territory.  However most girls and a lot of guys are not used to this.

Girls however seem to take this stuff to heart and it actually really upsets them.  I remember after that competition on our show there were literally, LITERALLY girls crying in every bathroom and bedroom of the house.  Let’s see how this one goes…

Well.  I’ll hand it to ABC.  This was not NEAR as bad as ours.  We had questions like “who has the worst boob job” or “who will be a bridesmaid and never a bride” or “who is the fattest, grossest, ugliest person in the house.”  I mean ours were super mean.  This was nothing that bad at all.

Jaclyn and Ed end up winning the competition.  YAY for my boy Ed finally winning.  Lol

Side note:  Where is Tony?  Have we even seen him?  We are 4 episodes in and I totally forgot he was on the show.

NOW WE GET TO SEE MORE STUPID GAMEPLAY.  Jaclyn decides to take Ed (who just won the competition) on her date…. WHHHHHHAAAAAT!?!?  Who are these people?  This is your chance to bring someone else on your side.  You know Ed is safe and already on your side.

I honestly feel like I am taking CRAZY PILLS watching these brain dead kids play this game.  Did they put “stupid” in all the drinks on the show and everybody just drank it right up.

Well she picks Ed and they go on a pretty cool date to Dodger Stadium.  It is just the two of them and they play a little baseball and kiss a bit on the mound.  Watching both of the most un-athletic people on the show try and throw and hit a baseball was like watching two monkeys hump a football.  It was just gross.  No man should be that uncoordinated.  Ever.

Back in the house Chris is picking his date and picks SARAH!  Wow!  I don’t even have to tell you the look Blakeley is giving Chris right now.  I think she just burnt holes in his head with laser beams from her eyes.  MORE STUPID game play.  I mean super stupid this time.  You just dug a hole you might not get out of sir.

Chris and Sarah’s date was actually pretty cool though.  They do some action filming and they are very flirty with each other.  They are offered a hotel and they decided to stay and not come back to the mansion.  Man, Chris is running through these girls like a bull on parade.

At the Rose Ceremony it is lies and confusion as usual.  In the end however Jamie and Dave go home.  I am actually glad to see Jamie go (I’ll explain in beef #1 below).  I was sad to see Dave go.  He seems like a good humble guy and I can’t wait to meet him.  Best of luck, buddy.

Let’s get to the beefs!

Beef #1.  Jamie.  I feel so bad for this girl.  Watching her throw herself at Chris over and over is terrible. I can’t imagine how embarrassing it must be watching this show with her friends or family.  If I were her I would seriously watch it alone with my friend Mr. Jack Daniels.

Beef #2.  Girls in the house.  Everyone is mad at Chris for doing what he is doing and boning and playing games with all the girls in the house but WHAT ABOUT THE GIRLS WATCHING AND LETTING HIM DO IT?!?  It is not like it is a big secret.  Are you trying to tell me Sarah did not know about Jamie or Blakeley yet still went and slept with him the first chance she could?  What is wrong with these girls?

Beef #3.  Chris.  I am a guy.  I have done my share stupid things but even I am losing respect for what he is doing.  Especially knowing that his family is watching.  If I know a girl is a complete bi@ch I might not have a problem playing a little game with her but Jamie is a sweetheart and I just don’t agree with what he is doing.  It is also HORRIBLE GAMEPLAY and it will catch up with him at some point.

Can’t wait for next week.  Have a good one!

  1. I think Ed has knows how to play, as horrible it is to say this, I feel like he knew how to play on Jillian’s season as well. I have a feeling Ed can’t stand losing, no matter what it is. But he’s being fun, he’s being open and drunk and he doesn’t seem like a threat at all. I think he could go a long way, if not all the way.
I don’t blame Jaclyn for taking him on a date rather than someone she has no interest in. By this point they either have a strong alliance, or they won’t ever be sure.

I feel sorry for the girls Chris is playing. It is easier for us to judge from the outside watching the highlights on tv. But seriously, I can’t understand what’s so attractive about the guy. He comes across as really insecure and immature. Two of the most unattractive features ever.

Fun blog to read once again David, lol, I sincerely hope Jamie rather watched it with her friend Mr. Jack Daniels, than friends and family.

P.S. Is the reunion show/finale filmed before the show starts airing?

  2. Great blog, Dave. Glad to see you have standards and know that what Chris did is absolutely deplorable –though Chris is still self-righteous about his nefarious activities in blogs.

As for the J’s decision to take Ed on a date, I don’t necessarily see this as great game play. The alliances were already solidified. THey are in the couple’s alliance..and J stood potentially to weaken her own alliance since that other girl (Sarah) has her eyes on Ed.

Since Ed is Ed, could J really risk allowing him to take someone else on a date. THe man can’t keep it in his pants or hold his liquor.

I think it was a great move on J’s part.

Chris is acting like a starving, psychotic wolf-you know, when they are desperate for food or traumatized and kill everything in sight rather than killing for nourishment. He is selfish, short sighted, and entirely ruled by compulsions.

It has already caught up to him as his reputation is mud and will seriously harm him professionally and with women. Yes, he may be able to bag sleazy, desperate types with low self esteem, but no decent woman will ever want him. He has pretty much sealed his fate.

To exploit Jamie was deplorable. Yes, she was playing the sex card too much but she seemed naive and inexperienced, like a young pup discovering its sexuality for the first time and exposing its bottom to every other dog or humping every chair in sight. She clearly wasn’t raised to know better, but Chris absolutely should not have toyed with her emotions, game or not.

I almost feel like he was so enraged by what happened to him on the Bachelor, that he was played and not picked, that he took his rage out on other women (great job, Emily, in leading men on and dumping them on national TV–indirectedly, your selfishness and manipulative behavior hurt other men. God knows how the other wounded men are acting out.) Seems like Chris, in his stupidity, thought he’d play the Bachelor role and kiss and lead on others just like Emily and dump them when he;s done or not satisified with them, all in the name of love.

Mike Fleiss is doing a great job in uplifting our culture. I can’t imagine how his Bachelor Pad and Bachelor series are affecting impressionable minds at home, possibly inspiring them to use and exploit others and get sloshed, somehow thinking public drunkeness is cool and heightens their ability to launch a lucrative “careers” as an attention seeking, talentless, “reality star.”

Great to see that Dave is demonstrating good character. Character does matter, and he is smart and ethical enough to realize that.

  3. Jaime may have had the most magnificent guy waiting for her so wanting Chris to take off his shorts and saying so is naughty on her part

  4. SJ? What is attractive about him?

He is good looking (as in has a good body) and sexual. Horomone crazed 20 somemthings response (especially those who are governed by hormones/emotions) to pheremones.

He is attractive because he is wiling and available and has a dominant personality. If you want to understand why women are attracted to him research why some women are drawn to serial killers. But look at the women who go for him — all have low self esteem.

Blakely — has made a living in the sex trade, but is now cleaning up her act. She is used to using and exploiting her sexuality to get what she wants.

Jamie — who mounted Ben and thought the way to a man’s heart was a lapdance. She prances and dances around in a bikini, like a baboon exposing its @ss to get attention. Any baboon of the opposite gender in heat woud respond indiscriminately. Since Jamie is inexperienced and desperate, she interprets any reaction as love, since good men or at least men with self esteem and standards dont respond to those antics. No one else want’s Jamie because her low self esteem, lack of standards precedes her.

That other girl — Sarah? She mounted Ed at hello. Then mounted Chris knowing he had mounted two others. Also mounted Reid (before BP). She is an indiscrimainte as they are and would mount anything. Seems to just be a nympho. How long did it take her to get over Ed and mount another?

Emily would not have conducted herself this way nor would any other good woman. Chris is just grabbing at the lowest fruit on the tree and somehow thinks he is a stud for being do.

  5. If the guy Jamie left behind (twice) has any standards, he will send her away and wish her well. She can’t be trusted not to cheat.

I feel sorry for her as she seems sweet.

  6. Agree with all three beefs!

    Comment by Sarah Whitney — August 16, 2012 @ 2:48 pm

  7. Yes, yes, yes – why are the girls letting this happen? And, wait, the dumbest is Sarah because she saw what happened to Jamie and she slept with Chris. Thanks Sarah -for looking like a slutttt. You just made Jamie look better. Jamie is just so clueless about men. She seems like a teenager with her knowledge level on men. Hope she is not too humiliated. Thanks for another good read Dave!

  8. Dave you are a class act. Funny but not nasty. Respectful towards woman. You are awesome.

  9. Thanks for your blog, Dave. It was funny and enlightening at the same time that these people are playing the game so badly. You had a lot of good lines there. Yes, poor Jamie…I hope she did watch it alone with a bottle of Jack Daniels. Hopefully something worse will come along (and it will) and everyone will forget about it. Though it does BLOW MY MIND that she’s had a BOYFRIEND back home the entire friggin time!!!!

  10. You’re right on with all three beefs. Chris’ behavior was truly disgusting this week, but you’re also right that women need to be smarter and stop falling for such nonsense. I hope this serves as a wake up call for Jamie. I did love her exit though. Chris proved himself a major douche by his reaction.

  11. David, I really like the way you stepped up to the plate, like Chris H. and Stag, to publicly state your feelings about Chris’s behavior. It is vile. He is not a good human being, and seeing people who are part of the franchise speak their true feelings says a lot about Chris. When three people who are insiders to the situation speak out like that, that usually means it’s a true indication of how someone is outside of reality tv. I have to say, I didn’t enjoy you on the Bachelorette, and I know part of that was the editing, but you seem to be a really decent guy. Thanks for the great recap, David.

  13. Poopsie I understand with your explanations. You are absolutely right about how all of the women come across! I didn’t watch the whole episode when I wrote that comment and now as I watched rest…too sad.
Strangely, Blakely seems the most sane of the three, at least she finally realized she got played.

  21. Bachelor Pad 3 is definitely entertaining to watch for all of the drama in the Bachelor mansion……however, the challanges are getting extremely repetitive, boring, and lame……. The trivia episode where they ask questions like how many people has so and so slept with is so boooooring….. Hopefully for Bachelor Pad 4 they come up with better challenges…. maybe even more sports-related challenges perhaps………….

  22. To be honest, after this sleaze fest, I am done with this stupid franchise, not that MF needs my viewership — as he is polluting UK with his British version of this crap.

I have had enough of stupidity reality show people doing stupid things. It’s not even interesting any more.
