Thank you Dave! Finally you brought it up!
Me and my friend were talking about that that all the time. Getting a child is extra responsibility and how much anyone pretends that it's all just positive and blessing it's not. You actually have to fit into the child's life too and not only the woman's or man's. That's something completely different than meeting the parents as they do on hometown dates, they are not going to live with the parents. I hope we see Jef and Arie with Ricki before a possible proposal. It would be idiotic for her to accept the proposal if the child doesn't fit with the guys.
Everybody have been careful and so afraid to offend Emily, but I think people should be honest instead. It's not about her and her daughter all the time, it is about the general truth about giving up a sense of freedom when having a child (which a good parent should do), and any man can say that he would do that, but the truth is that not everybody is.

DAVID,
Nice recap on The Men Tell All episode.....was fun to watch the reunion, however, it seems as if MTA is way too long....they could have easily condensed it to an hour-long show.....Agree that the entire "Bachelor/Bachelorette" show needs some fresh, new people instead of casting former alumni all the time.....at least on BP3 there will be a few new faces......

Emily should have taken the high road instead of being mean and vindictive. She actually was the one who started the twitter war with kalon with that tweet about poking her eyes w/ stunt pencils. Then kalon got back at her. It looks like she loves dragging the issue to life after the show. People cheering her on also help encourage her attitude.

Kara, everyone is entitled to an opinion as your are. It would have CLASSIER for Emily to just give Kalon LESS attention he deserved then her bashing him on National TV is all I am saying. Is that a problem?

Good blog.

True about Kalon, a lot of guys can think like him, but he who uses such big words to express himself apparently doesn't have basic social skills, you just don't talk to anybody to their face the way he talked to Emily, and there are so many other ways to formulate the single mom vs single girl thing than the rude, disrespectful way, he did it in.

I love Ryan, he is hilarious. He's full of himself, but at least he has been fun to watch the whole time.

In my opinion good to bring former contestans as bachelor/bachelorette, because some people already know them and usually like them. BUT then there are always some contestanst on the show hoping to become the next bachelor/ette. And I don't always agree with the who gets chosen. Ben was so boring to watch, he lost his balls early on. Brad and his insecurities, temper and constant reassurance of Emily wasn't someone I could enjoy to watch either. Jake and his "temper issues" too, while everybody thought he was so perfect too and suggested him as the new bachelor I could smell the fakeness from the other side of television screen. Andrew(?) guy who chose Tessa, so boring! I don't know... Why don't they choose someone more honest and fun like Ryan or whoever else who dared speaking their mind and being themselvves instead of being just "perfect".

It's becoming more and more clear to me that this show doesn't appreciate honesty. I know with all tv you need to edit people (who "give enough material") to fit in some characters, and then have the audience root for the good guy (Sean).

I see Emily being portrayed as so perfect that some people think she's completely fake or boring. Then we see some of her funny sides and I wish we'd see more, because she seems funny too. I liked her little comment in the end about cats vs. chiuaua, and the funny "tattoo homeless" guy comment. She feels more real to me seeing those sides of her. Instead of only all the beautiful fairitale dresses & helicopter dates, how about more dates like the 1st one she had with Ryan? And why just save all fun moments from the show as 5 minute bloopers. It would be more fun to see that people are actually funny, what else they do in the house while waiting for date other than talking about the bachelor/ette.

@Maria, @TJ, Emily doesn't have to give Kalon one bit of respect or a second of her time. I thought she should have been meaner!!

Stop comparing all the bacheloretts, their unique and beautiful in their own way.

I agree with a few of the posts about Emily's very planned comments to Kalon. I actually have to give him props for not speaking back and not saying anything negative to her after she went on her little rant. Do I think he is a great guy? No, but he showed more respect to her at the MTA then she certainly did.

I think they have to recycle Bachelor/ettes. It would take us too long to get into the season when we have to learn all about the lead, plus get to know the contestants.

I am so glad this season is almost over. I have not enjoyed it. I feel a relationship with Jef will never work, as he is a fun loving adventurous guy, and she admits to not doing anything. I think she and Arie have similar lifestyles, being more in the spotlight and traveling.

When you compare this season to past seasons, the only difference is how the lead is being portrayed. They are only showing her in the best light, where all the other Bachelorettes have been subject to heartbreak, disappointment, ridicule, you name it. There have only been 4 guys in this season to really fall for her, and if you look back through the other seasons, that is the same with the other girls. Looks do not mean very much when you are trying to find a life partner.

According to a reporter with The Hollywood Reporter, that was at the taping of MTA, there were many negative comments directed at Emily for her treatment of the men, however, they, of course, would not show that.

Looking forward to BP3 and some fun and adventure.
