Susan I liove your comment! But I said on a different blog, I think he took a bad time to make a joke. I don’t think it’s that he won’t love her if she got fat, I think it’s that fitness is something that is important to him , his life and career, that he would wAnt whoever he marries to share that desire. I am 29, I’ve had 2 kids and I do not look like I did before babies, but fitness is important to me, not my #1 priority, but I love to run and I want my kids to be active. There’s nothing wrong with wanting an active life. I think Ryan would be the kind of husband who would encourage his wife, and work out with her to help lose those baby pounds. If I didn’t have my husband I don’t know if I would be that motivated to lose them, NOT because he wants me to, he has never ever said a negative thing about my size, but because I want to, for myself and for him.

I after watching the last clip at the end I think he meant commitment, not compromise. He said to her friends he didn’t have any compromises, not even a cat. I wouldn’t call a cat a compromise, that just doesn’t even make sense. It’s a commitment. So I think even though he said it wasn’t a language barrier it was. But still wouldn’t keep him around after the disturbing cousin story…

I think Ryan probably was joking…either way, he’s not my favorite by any means! But he’s cute enough to deserve a crush Kacie! I also don’t see where Kacie says Alejandro went home…I think she just says he was just “okay” on this date and didn’t really make a splash.

I don’t think Ryan is right for Emily anymore after this week’s episode.Why would you assume Ryan was “joking”? He didn’t say he was joking. Besides, who would want to be married to someone with condescending humor? Would that really make someone happy? Chris has moved up to #1 in my opinion for Emily. Can’t wait to see more of Jeff too.

Methinks Kacie B. still has a total crush on Ryan, because that comment was awful on so many levels. Especially since the other lady’s were joking about HIM “blowing up like a tick” and then he’s the one that pressed the issue three different times that Emily better not get fat. I think he’s shooting himself in the foot with the extra letter, going over to her during the kid’s play time, and being so possessive of her with the other guys around. You can already see she’s turned off by it.
And Kacie–don’t ever let a guy you’re interested in tell you that you better stay skinny or he’ll withold affection from you. Not even in a joking matter. You don’t know what the future holds, and i can tell you from first hand experience that a husband that loves you for YOU, and not just your body, makes a world of difference. I am so grateful that my husband is just as loving and supportive and affectionate with me after hitting 30 and my metabolism going down the drain and having baby. I look nothing like the girl he married, yet everyday he makes me feel that I do. Don’t settle for less Kace!!

Im a Ryan fan, and I think he means well too! I think the show is just trying to create some sort of “drama”. I do like Sean and I like how hes grounded in his faith. If Ryan doesnt last long, I hope YOU meet him and marry him! <3

Sean is an awesome guy.. really seems to mesh well with Emily. And he just “fits in” with her lifestyle already.he is a good guy on so many levels. Definitely see him as a keeper and a great stepdad for rickie. arie is great.. but can Emily deal with basicly reliving the life she had before rickie? Including traveling.. allowing him to just jet off and leave for his racing career? That’s way much more stress.. and with a family.. I think it would mess them up eventually. And Jeff is precious.. but having a family is way more of a work load than a buisness.. can he handle it… Can he let go of some of his youth to settle down and be a dad and a husband? I’m not think so.. if it was just Emily. Then I see an on off dating thing happening… But either way, best of luck to her. She knows what she wants in life and wants to share that with someone.. hopefully she will allow someone in.. sweetness!

I used to be a Ryan fan, but after last night’s episode I’m not so sure he’s right for Emily. He’s basically only right for someone who has working out on their day to day life forever. Joking or not, that was a pretty bad thing to say on national tv. I’m off the Ryan train now, especially after seeing this weeks episode and previews for next week. Who knows, maybe it’s all in the editing. My votes are for Sean and Arie!
