Absolutely love them!!!! I completely agree that the focus needs to be on Ashley’s journey and outcome and not the mistakes along the way. We’ve all made them, right? Otherwise we wouldn’t recognize happiness when we see it.
Great interview, love these two….They KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE…It’s a shame this is not being shown on national TV for everyone to see a happy and highly respected couple…They give a great insight into the process, as Ali said if you haven’t been in the bachelor/bachelorette spot, how do you think you know anything about it????
Ali & Roberto are able to offer such a great perspective! The audience seems to be so harsh on Ashley, but as Ali say’s, she cannot see everything we see. I was on the fence about Ashley being the Bachelorette, but after watching the season so far, what I appreciate most about her is that she is real. Her feelings get hurt just like all of us, she only wants to be happy, as do all of us. So rahter than condeming her, I’d like to see people put themselves in Ashley’s position and be a bit more compassionate to what she is going through. It can’t be easy. Great interview! I am so happy for Roberto and Ali. They have worked hard on developing their relationship AFTER the show and it has paid off!
There will never be another Ali and Roberto. This couple is amazing! You can just feel the love they have for one another. Their season was sooo good that I couldn’t wait until the next episode. I had all of the episodes on my DVR and I watched them over and over. In fact, I still have them. The kindness and love they show to everyone that is around them is amazing. I think that Ashley isn’t the same caliber of bachelorette that we have had the privilege to see in the last 3 shows. I can’t understand how she became the bachelorette in the first place. She did a terrible job on Brad’s show. My thoughts of her has nothing to do with Bentley that was just something that happened. I don’t think she has the maturity that we have seen in the past. I hope she is in love and they get married that will make up for what we have been put through this show.
Roberto keeps his mouth shut while Ali does all the talking. Do you think it’s because he’s a good listener? No! It’s because she’s trained him to keep his mouth shut unless he wants to get yelled at later on!
Maturity is relative. I think Ashley is as mature as anyone needs to be to lead this show. She’s just had a couple of bad breaks. One, the whole Bentley debacle and two, the producers have not always shown her in the best light. They are beginning to redeem themselves, and in doing so, making Ashley more endearing to the audience. I’m hoping so anyway. Sometimes (most times) an industry will do what it has to to create MORE… more drama, more money, more ratings… even at the expense of the one’s making them the money, ratings, …
Ashley has been one of my favorite bachelorettes because she has shown real emotion and gone through real heartbreak to find who will hopefully will be her husband. Actually this season is one of the highest rated seasons soo whatever it is, she is doing something to make people watch.
Ali and Roberto have to be the cutest couple ever! The mutual love and respect they have for each other is obvious, and that is so great to see! I also love their geniune feelings for others! So good to see! Love you Ali and Roberto <3!
Ali and Roberto did a great interview with very insightful perspectives. Ali has lived the experience of the show which qualifies her as an expert voice on this subject. My challenge has not so much been about Ashley becasue she didn’t know what he was saying behind her back. Rather I have been very challenged with the ethics of the shows producers. It seems they had the power to enlighten Ashley about what was going on. This could have perhaps released her from the illusions that he created in his cruel efforts to play her. I have no idea if this season is proving to be a ratings winner–but I seriously question the choices of the producers to NOT intervene when this was clearly a very distressing situation for Ashley. Additionally I don’t feel that this specific “story” has been enjoyable for the audience to watch.
I have said the same thing, anyone who has had relationships has been played. She didn’t know he was saying those things about her. BUT the question I want to ask is why did Chris and the producers not warn her more strongly, even show her clips of what B was saying if necessary? They let this go on waaayyy too long!
Love Ali and Roberto and can’t wait to hear about wedding plans.
Ali as the Bachelorette was my fave series! I picked Roberto for her as soon as he walked out of the car in the first ep. Such an adorable couple! I hope their future together is filled with much love and happiness. Living in Australia, I haven’t seen Ashley as the Bachelorette as yet, so I’ll reserve judgement.

I love these two but I would have rather seen them talk about themselves than talk about Ashley. We have watched the show and can form our own conclusions about Ashley. We don’t need Ali to tell us what to think.
Definitely agree concerning the producers. It seems like a double-standard when Chris has spoken about not intervening in Ashley’s “journey,” yet they certainly intervened (rightly so) in Ali’s journey when they “discovered” Justin had a girlfriend. It should have been handled sooner. Also, I hope the reports of Ashley being paid considerably lower than the other B’ettes is false. She certainly deserves as much, or more, for what she has now been put through.
A & R wedding soon…..
Your commitment to each other PRICELESS
I think Roberto said
“You will be so, so, loved…”

I agree with Brian and Sunny’s comments that the producers should have intervened seeing how Ashley’s thoughts about Bentley would be affecting Ashley’s holding back on having a positive relationship with the remaining men who are there for her. Bentley should have graciously and honestly have bowed out when he knew Ashley was not the woman he was looking for.
I feel B.J. is the man for Ashley.
Whomever she picks, I sincerely hope it will work as it is for Ali and Roberto. Ashley so deserves it.
