I’m grinning like the Cheshire Cat watching this video! OMG – they are so cute together. He is so shy – don’t think he’s had much experience with women yet, probably too busy getting his company set up. Not rich enough for her?!! Holy Moly, where’d you get that idea? As for being daddy material, he’s Mormon, and they are huge family people – they often have larger familieis as well. He’s going to come around, and he is so ready for marriage and a family. Just look at his bio video and also the way he is with kids in his People Water youtube video! Emily says she wants love and kids YESTERDAY, and I definitely think Jef is ready for that now. JMO

Jef Holm looks soooooo SHORT and skinny. 5’7″? Gotta do something about his hairdo.
He’s adorable and real – that’s ironically very hard to find on “reality” TV. I think he’s wonderful, but he needs to step it up and go after Em before player skeezy Arie uses his player games on Em. See realitysteve for further details.
Love this video, it should of been shown. Majority of Salt Lake City Mormon women look like Emily in every way. Jeff is from a Mormon family; Mormon’s are often involved in humanitarian efforts. Many LDS young men choose to serve a two year proselytizing mission (AND JEFF HAS COMPLETED HIS TWO YEAR MISSION ALREADY), during which they dedicate all of their time to the church, without pay.
Mormons adhere to the Word of Wisdom, a health law or code that prohibits the consumption of tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and tea, and encourages the use of wholesome herbs, grains, fruits, and a moderate consumption of meat. The Word of Wisdom is interpreted to also prohibit other harmful and addictive substances and practices, such as the use of illegal drugs and abuse of prescription drugs. Mormons also oppose addictive behavior such as viewing pornography and gambling. Mormon’s usually wait until marriage to have sex too.
Although Jeff is now a non-practicing Mormon. I believe his Mormon roots have something to do with his on-camera “shyness” as well as he is so taken by Emily and seems tounge tied at times based on the fact he is so smitten by her. He isn’t your typical drunken player guy that is on these type of shows. He seems like one of the more quality men on here along with Sean. Very grounded.
My brother works and lives in Salt Lake as does my nephew (born, raised and attends college in Salt Lake) and I hike in St. George and stay at a spa/resort there when I go for weeks at time. Have had the opportunity to meet and get to know the locals in St. George as well as in Salt Lake. The company my brother is employed by is owned by one of the wealthiest Mormon families in Salt Lake. And I have to share that Jef’s family is not poor, at all. We should see this during the home town date Emily goes to at Jef’s ranch.
This pic is for you Chelsea, ck out the house he is photographed in and the homes surrounding the house as well as what he is holding. Doesn’t look too poor to me and seems he is very comfortable with children. I agree with you halfpintdynamite with everything you typed. Spot on! http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/jef-holm
Scroll down on the first page of the tumblr site to ck out the pic of Jef holding a baby with #teamjef t-shirt on, adorable.
I have watched this video like 20 times. They are so adorable and I AM IN LOVE WITH JEF. If she doesn’t pick him, I’ll be so sad. They would be adorable together. He seems very mature. Great head on his shoulders. Comfortable around kids. CEO of a charity. Not to mention that he is ridiculously good looking. Jef is HOT!
I can see them together in the end. They balance one another out. Jef does not view this as a competition and is not there to stir up any drama. He reminds me of JP. I see some shyness though, which is not a bad thing. I am sure that will change. I can see why people may not take Jef seriously, but honestly he seems like a smart and intelligent guy. And that picture of the baby he is holding on that tumblr site is adorable. Hopefully we get to see him with Ricki. I wish I could have a guy like this. They are hard to find
My only concern about Jef is the fact that he comes from a strong Mormon background. A strong Born Again Christian, which Emily is reported to be, would be put off by his faith. Born Again Christians view the Mormon Faith as a cult. However, if Jef has truly walked away from the Mormon faith and is now a practicing Christian, then I could see it working.
Sue, your concern of Jef coming from a strong Mormon background is unfounded. If you would do your homework, (ask a Mormon) or go to Mormon.org you would know that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints is NOT a cult. Jef is not jumping in for the kiss because he has, been raised by a good Mormon family who has taught him to be a gentleman. He is an amazing man, with high values and whomever he marries will get a wonderful husband. Isn’t it refreshing to see a real man treat a woman like a lady?
Jef is so cute! He reminds me of like a high school boy who is just so flustered around this girl he likes. Aaaah. He honestly seems like the most genuine out of all the boys. I used to like Arie but then he started coming off really…rehearsed and all. LOVE JEF
Elizabeth, what does it mean to be a “non-practicing” Mormon? If Jeff grew up as a Mormon, then why is he non-practicing? You claim him to be better than the other guys because he grew up as a Mormon. You refer to the other guys as “drunken player guys” and claim him to be “rich”. True religious people don’t brag about money or claim to be better than other people.
@ryan and @sue. Just like most denominations (I don’t call it different religions like Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran or LDS b/c all are Christians, which is the same religion). You obviously don’t know the Mormon faith. And, who says Jef abides by everything Mormons are supposed to belive. I grew up RLDS (REORGANIZED Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) which is a much smaller organization (or in your world “cult) than LDS. The founder, who of course I think is psycho and disagree with the multiple wives, Joseph Smith and his family actually didn’t create Mormonism. Brigham Young broke away and went with the polygamy beliefs. Joseph Smith Jr.’s family (no matter how f-ed up he is) continued with RLDS, which never believed in polygamy. We “share some beliefs.” (RLDS is now called Community of Christ b/c LDS had such a bad reputation internationally). However, I grew up with the Bible, Book of Mormon and the Doctrine in Covenants. However, I don’t “agree” with the church I was baptized in. Personally, I’m considered Christian, but I’m more spiritual. I belive many religions exist and there are many ways to God. The Bible, Book of Mormon, etc. are just ways for people to communicate with God. They are man’s interpretation of God. No religion is superior. I believe in a higher power and in Jesus, but I also believe in many faiths.
However, I discount the word “cult” for Moromons. Though I obviously, nor my “baptized” church has never agreed with polygamy like Brigham Young did, the church is very much Christian and is not a cult. I disagree with Joseph Smith Jr. and his life/beliefs on many levels, but considering we have a Mormon running for President, I see it as just another sector of Christianity. I hate when people post acting like they’ve studied Mormonism (if you did you would be aware of RLDS)and then brand it a cult. Weren’t Catholics and all Christians considered cults at one point in time? Please avoid judging. Love should be based off of love, nothing else. And yes, different “religions” (though Emily/Jef are both Christians) can work. I know a couple that is devoutly Muslim and Christian, are different ages and several decades apart and they have been married a long time. Also, I know Jewish/Christian couples, Hindu/Muslim, etc. Stop the negativity.
Team Jem: your fans really want you 3 to work as a family. You make a beautiful couple and little Ricki could easily pass for your own flesh and blood.(No disrespect to her father who is no longer with us). Be kind and respectful to each other. Let the magic that brought you together be sustained by that friendship quality of the relationship. Love, love you 2 together. Now date her date marry the hell out her and give 2 or 3 more beautiful children. Your kids will be gorgeous!
Hey Paula, it took me the whole year before I could comment after reading your long lesson about Mormons. You know, calling them Mormons or Morons would be the same since they waist two years of their life being in the church. Any religion did not bring anything good and positive, but ,,prohibit” this, ,,prohibit” that…,,disagree” with this, ,,do not except” that, ,,hate” them, ,,go to the war” with those, ,,cannot marry” them…Church is poison!!! Teaches people to hate!!! All the wars started in the church!!!
Cheers!!! Be happy!!! Do not waist your time in church!! Get out and look into the sky! Educate yourself!
