Hey Paula, it took me the whole year before I could comment after reading your long lesson about Mormons. You know, calling them Mormons or Morons would be the same since they waist two years of their life being in the church. Any religion did not bring anything good and positive, but ,,prohibit'' this, ,,prohibit'' that...,,disagree'' with this, ,,do not except'' that, ,,hate'' them, ,,go to the war'' with those, ,,cannot marry'' them...Church is poison!!! Teaches people to hate!!! All the wars started in the church!!! Cheers!!! Be happy!!! Do not waist your time in church!! Get out and look into the sky! Educate yourself!

They should have aired this on the first episode. I bet they didn’t so we wouldn’t see how they sparked from the start and totally give away the ending.

Team Jem: your fans really want you 3 to work as a family. You make a beautiful couple and little Ricki could easily pass for your own flesh and blood.(No disrespect to her father who is no longer with us). Be kind and respectful to each other. @ryan and @sue. Just like most denominations (I don’t call it different religions like Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran or LDS b/c all are Christians, which is the same religion). You obviously don’t know the Mormon faith. And, who says Jef abides by everything Mormons are supposed to belive. I grew up RLDS (REORGANIZED Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) which is a much smaller organization (or in your world “cult) than LDS. The founder, who of course I think is psycho and disagree with the multiple wives, Joseph Smith and his family actually didn’t create Mormonism. Brigham Young broke away and went with the polygamy beliefs. Joseph Smith Jr.’s family (no matter how f-ed up he is) continued with RLDS, which never believed in polygamy. We “share some beliefs.” (RLDS is now called Community of Christ b/c LDS had such a bad reputation internationally). However, I grew up with the Bible, Book of Mormon and the Doctrine in Covenants. However, I don’t “agree” with the church I was baptized in. Personally, I’m considered Christian, but I’m more spiritual. I belive many religions exist and there are many ways to God. The Bible, Book of Mormon, etc. are just ways for people to communicate with God. They are man’s interpretation of God. No religion is superior. I believe in a higher power and in Jesus, but I also believe in many faiths.

However, I discount the word “cult” for Moromons. Though I obviously, nor my “baptized” church has never agreed with polygamy like Brigham Young did, the church is very much Christian and is not a cult. I disagree with Joseph Smith Jr. and his life/beliefs on many levels, but considering we have a Mormon running for President, I see it as just another sector of Christianity. I hate when people post acting like they’ve studied Mormonism (if you did you would be aware of RLDS)and then brand it a cult. Weren’t Catholics and all Christians considered cults at one point in time? Please avoid judging. Love should be based off of love, nothing else. And yes, different “religions” (though Emily/Jef are both Christians) can work. I know a couple that is devoutly Muslim and Christian, are different ages and several decades apart and they have been married a long time. Also, I know Jewish/Christian couples, Hindu/Muslim, etc. Stop the negativity.

Elizabeth, what does it mean to be a “non-practicing” Mormon? If Jeff grew up as a Mormon, then why is he non-practicing? You claim him to be better than the other guys because he grew up as a Mormon. You refer to the other guys as “drunken player guys” and claim him to be “rich”. True religious people don’t brag about money or claim to be better than other people.
