  5. I don’t know Holly personally, in fact if I should meet
her face to face in a mall, I doubt if I would reconize

What I have seen of her on TV, I think she is a beautiful
young lady. Naturally a person of her age, unlesss they
are uglier than ugly, is going to have a lot of ex’s.
Why the double standard, why is it ok for a guy to date
lots of different girls before he settles down & marry, but wrong for a girl not to settle for anything less than true love. I certainly didn’t marry the first guy I dated
but when my prince charming came along, I knew he was right for me almost immediately. We only dated 4 months but have now been married over 15 yrs and he is still my one & only.

I wish Holly & Blake the very best and it is wonderful that Blake is all settle in his profession. I also think they as a couple are doing the right thing to be getting far, far away from the Hollywood crowd and to live the simple life out of the spotlight as most of us do.

Having said that, I still hope both Holly & Blake continue to twitter as I, for one would like to hear
from them from time to time.

I am sure the contestants know stories sell, and they can make money off of engagement stories, break-up stories, and any love triangles. It is a way to stay in the spotlight and make cash at the same time.

    bupkiss Says:

I actually wondered if something like this was the case, because I was thinking “how was the engagement filmed?” And then it seemed like such a convenient story for the Bachelor franchise / ABC, so it makes sense that it was orchestrated by them. That would also explain why it happened so quickly.

The whole thing is pretty gross, I agree, and I feel like it makes a mockery of marriage. For her it’s her 2nd engagement in one year, this time to a guy too cheap to buy his own ring (and on a dentist’s salary that shouldn’t be too hard).

On another note, after about 5 minutes of research (via facebook ), I noticed something. Blake seems to come from good stock – his family seems nice and proper. Jump to Holly’s – well, I’m sure her momma will soon make her profile private, but if you catch it now (Kathy Durst), you’ll see that most of her posts are all about BP2. “If you’re my friend, then you’ll watch BP” “I almost punched a 90 year old woman in the face because she said she wasn’t watching BP” “Look at my daughter on BP” “BP, BP, BP” As a parent, if your proudest achievement is that your daughter is on a reality tv show… I just won’t say it. But seriously, if it was my daughter, I wouldn’t be announcing to the world that there’s a show where my daughter hooks up with yet A COUPLE MORE reality male contestants.

    realityguiltypleasure Says:
    September 9th, 2011 at 12:02 PM
The engagement is all about fame, money, and attention. My prediction is we will see a story about how “in love” they are, how Holly is getting ready to move ( if it actually happens), then a story about some drama and dirt on them, and eventually a public breakup. Six months down the line and 500k richer, no hard feelings, just a job well played and they move on to “bigger and better”.

    jessi Says:
    September 9th, 2011 at 12:06 PM
bp2watcher25 I totally agree! I crept Holly’s mom before and their family seems sooo trashy. I dunno WTF Michael ever saw in her when he seems to be such a family-oriented guy. Eww. I noticed the same thing about her profile. She seems like the kind of mom who encourages their kids to do these kids of trashy things for attention so can we really blame Holly for the way she is? lol

Reality Steve said in the reader’s question column that Holly worked in retail; why the hell do they call her a ‘children’s book writer’? Are her books even available to buy? Is that just a lie to create a nice, sweet image for her?

I think Holly and her mom see $$$$$ when they look at Blake and his family. I honestly can’t imagine that his family would be too happy about their son’s choice. I bet his sister will soon regret signing him up for the Bachelorette in the first place.

Also, you have to wonder, how is Blake going to feel when he shows up to one of those Bachelor/Bachelorette reunions/parties. He’ll probably be thinking, “So that guy’s been inside my wife… and that guy… and that guy… and that other guy… and him too… and…”

    Comment by Nasty Bitch — September 10, 2011 @ 12:27 pm

  18. Someone mentioned retard,,,Holly reminds me of that retarded girl on MadTV. You know, the giggling idiot who sticks sticks and boogers up her nose to the embarrassment of her parents while thinking she is oh, so cute.

In Holly’s case, her family is encouraging and applauding her ridiculous white trash behavior while she makes a spectacle of herself on national TV.

I feel sorry for Blake as his reputation is toast at this time. Make believe engagement to a white trash reality star who has boned the entire Bachelor franchise? This will haunt him the rest of his life, regardless of the money and fame he acquires now. I expect he will have a hard time finding a quality woman (wife) after this.

As for Holly, I don’t know what to say. She has no skills. Working in a clothing botique? OK, she is a cashier, but in Beverly Hills. Does she also waitress? I thought she was supposed to be a writer? Why would she film herself acting like such an embarrassment on Youtube if she were trying to attract a high class clientele? Where is her common sense and judgment? Where is her sense of class and discretion?

I guess she hopped from reality star to reality star until she found the man/opportunity to sponsor a fake wedding. Wells done, Holly. Heee heee heee heee.

We are laughing at you while you laugh your skanky ass to the bank. You made yourself into a public prostitute and embarrassed/degraded good people, like Michael, and sullied your shamelss family name all to line your own pockets and fuel your narcissism — since you clearly had no other marketable skills, strategy, or ability and/or were too lazy to do it with integrty, honest, talent, or hard work.

Both Holly the illiterate (Him and I are gettin’ married! (Look at meeee! Look at my ring! (Cross-eyed, tongue-out look into the camera.) and Blake the desperate/gullible/? have made public spectacles of themselves, developing reputations that will haunt them the rest of their lives.

After the initial buzz wears off, you will see that few respectacle people will want the association or even respect you two. Hope it was all worth it.

    Comment by Ummm — September 11, 2011 @ 2:10 am

  21. Holly is a typical girl in her 20′s. She isn’t trash! The haters are awful. She dated reality stars because they were in her social circle of friends in California. Like for example nurses & doctors tend to gravitate to other medical professionals in their circle. Her mother is acting like any proud mom of their girl on TV. Nothing wrong with that! Should she hide the fact? Blake’s family most likely will find Holly genuine and down to earth. She seems to have a happy go lucky demeanor..not a bad thing to have!

    Comment by Good Grief — September 11, 2011 @ 2:51 am

  22. Holly seems to be a really confused person. First she auditioned to be the Bachelorette. Really, Holly, you thought you could carry a show?

That audition landed her on the Bachelor (Matt Grant’s season), where Holly apparently got raunchy in the hot tub with Matt, who acknowledged a “physical chemistry” but nothing more.

Yes, Holly, men and women are attracted to each other, just as male dogs like to mount female dogs, but in the human species, most seek high qualities — like spiritual, mental, emotional connections.

Matt noted that you were lacking in other departments and essenitally couldn’t sustain a conversation with him — not because you were “reserved.” You simply were uneducated and rather dull.

This video above is further proof. Sorry, but a cosmopolitan, educated man is not going to want to marry a buffoon like this — someone who will become the crazy aunt who swings from the chandaliers in an effort to get attention since she is neither beautiful, intelligent, nor charming enough to do it on her own.

She, who is functionally illiterate, (says things like “Him and I”) was also promoting herself as a “child’s book author” even though she had never published a book because she wanted kids she babysat to know she missed them.

Apparently she fashions herself as a role model for children and yet has publicliy debased herself (pretty indiscriminately) with many men.

The one thing she is able to do is be sexually available and to create sexual chemistry with men, so they keep her and use her — only to discard her soon after, or she finds another attractive as she brings little to nothing to a relationship beyond sex and vacuity (go get a dictionary, Holly or ask your thesaurus, Blake) which gets old after a while.

So, Holly goes hopping from man to man, seeking fame and money in the process. She complains about the highly intelligent Marsahana, who beat her out on a date with Matt Grant, for being the most hated in the house and then chooses the most hated man in the House to marry.

Holly couldn’t understand what Matt would see in a bright, attractively, highly educated woman and questioned his motivations. but after the show was over, she tried to hook up again, in the hopes that he would remember their hot tub scene and how good the sex was, and he used her, and again found her lacking, and so she hopped to the next.

I feel sorry for this girl. No wonder she looks so miserable. Back in Matt Grant’s season all of a few years ago she was cute and pretty (albeit stupid). Now she looks used, old, bitter, and jaded.

After her contrived marriage/engagement to Blake falls off the headlines, who will want her? Even if she does get married, I can’t see an educated man, like Blake, wanting an uneducated hill billy like this for a wife.

It’s not that she needs to be a genius, but at age 30, putting pots on your head and pouting into the camera just isn’t cute anymore. It works at age 8, at 30 not so much.

I am not sure who would want her afterward anyway after she has become a town prostitute, beyond another prostitute, but even male prostitutes prefer relative purity in their women. They tend not to want women whom everyone else has penetrated.

She doesn’t seem to have many marketable skills, beyond recognition for having appeared on TV making out with a lot of men. She hasn’t impressed anyone and has made a lot of enemies. She is not someone who will have longevity in this business, unlike others, like Jillian, Ali, Mellissa R., Dr. Stork, even Jake, who have focus, talent, determination.

I can’t imagine any producer/director/professional recruiter fo any kind, wanting to pick or recommend this girl. Who would want to worry with and give instructions to a doofus who puts pots on her head and plays the fool? Even if she gets massive surgery to improve her fading looks, she still bring stupidity and a lost reputation to the table.

Yet, her family remains proud of her. Her mother even boasted on Facebook about punching out an elderly woman (or wanting to), who failed to watch her daughter on BP making out with all those men.

Stupid is as stupid does, and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

    Comment by LilBowWow — September 11, 2011 @ 12:52 pm

  23. Good grief? Holly is not happy go lucky. She is a calcualting opportunist. She has practically slept with the entire Bachelor franchise in an effort to be famous. She forges sexual relationships with contestants who are hot in the headlines and as soon soon as they fade into obscurity, she offers her body to the next hot contestant. She has done this over and over and over again while playing the “I want to get married” routine.

Her intentions are not sincere. She is on some deluded quest to become rich and famous through reality stardom — and her strategy is to sleep around with as many as possible to keep her name in the press.

This is not a happy go lucky girl. This is a rather, sick, calcuating, broken women. No healthy female acts like this, sorry.

    Comment by LilBowWow — September 11, 2011 @ 1:00 pm

  24. I don’t understand this. If Holly wanted to do something with her life, why not just appear on the program and then try to launch a show on Nickelodean since she loves children so much? Why prostitute her on a show like this and render herself unmarketable?

Was this quick fix of money and blacked reputation worth it?

  26. Agree with you Louise!

Putting down other people is showing their own insecurities. It makes them feel better about themselves. Plus, negative people often have critical parents and are constantly trying to fill the emptiness in their lives.
    Copendency rule their lives.

I can’t wait to watch tomorrow night and see what unfolds! Go Holly!!!

    Comment by Lisa — September 11, 2011 @ 4:31 pm

  27. Both Blake and Holly are classless. Blake proved it when he “whored himself” (his words) out to both Melissa & Erica and then behind their backs spoke so poorly of them both. Holly’s final proof was when she could not refrain from exploring her physical connection with another man in front of her ex-fiance. If either one cared about others or even their own reputations they could have “explored” their relationship after the show. Regardless of their upbringing they seem to both be at the same trashy place in life, therefore they deserve each other.

    Comment by Sunny — September 11, 2011 @ 10:31 pm

  28. Holly is alright, just playin the field till she figures she got the right one. Nuthin wrong with that. I bet Blake “drills” her good.

    Comment by FrankLee — September 12, 2011 @ 3:14 am

  29. When I see her I just feel that she is quite a selfish person. She plays the innocent routine and acts happy go lucky but, she could care less about how other people feel. Not telling Michael beforehand about the engagement is just proof of this. To be in love with someone and engaged to them and then to blindside them on T.V. and act innocent like you didn’t know it would hurt him is just plain cold. In the end I am glad that she is engaged to Blake who is a manipulative person as well. Michael may not realize it now but, he is luckier to be out of a relationship with her than stuck in a marriage with a heartless person.

  30. Wow so many bitchy jealous people posting here. You all wish you can get Blake or Michael or something. Or you don’t have someone who can love you like that. Holly seems nice, and must have decent qualities if she has Michael and Blake madly in love with her. Attractive decent guys don’t fall hard, and fight hard over a girl that isn’t special. Its nice she and Blake found love and want to be together. Michael will find someone too.

  31. I think this woman has some real issues. Every conversation was focused on herself trying to seek compliments. With Holly it’s “me, me, me” and there’s really nothing too deep about this girl. She just seems so flaky and self-centered. Oh, and she’s also pretty darn homely.

  33. Whatever anyone says about Holly, the fact is that men like her and think she is fun… *everyone* agrees that Mike Stag is a stand-up guy, and he adores her. She is fun to be around, not dramatic and crazy, like some of the others. She is the real winner of Bachelor Pad – - – she is engaged, and she has $125,000! Money AND love! I think we can all learn something from her… guys would rather be with someone who is fun and light-hearted, rather than someone who is dramatic and crazy. And p.s., she is beautiful, and anyone who says otherwise, why don’t you post a picture of yourself!?? I guarantee she is much prettier than any haters.

    Comment by Amy — September 14, 2011 @ 6:16 am

  34. Holy is a blessed lady and men in her circle just fall in love with her because of her personality. I have learned a lot from watching her and I think all you people pouring out such hatred need to look at your inner self and find out what is wrong with you because i think you hate successful people and people who are winners.

Dear Holy enjoy your engagement and have a very blessed successful marriage and put your money into a very good use to earn you more and more. You are a winner and all those haters are losers. Tami, speaking for myself. yes, Mike is a stand up guy, but he is also naive. He also fell for Jillian, a promiscuous woman and party girl like Holly. Blake is a player. Michael is a break dancer. At this point, both are just reality show contestants.

Fight hard over her? She was leading both of them on. Michael is monogamous and wanted to make the relationship work. Blake appeared to know that he could cash in on their relationship in the tabloids to acquire fame and $.

She isn’t special. She is promiscuous, lacks character, is borderline illiterate, has accomplished nothing of note in her life beyond appearing in reality shows. She has left a trail of devastation and destruction all over the place including a mob of angry people who feel she used and abused them. She is not honest.

By your own reasoning, Vienna is also “special” since she had Kasey and Jake fighting over her. She also screwed Wes and Dave Good.

Erica got Jake and even tempted Blake. She has a law degree and was immensely witty. What intelligent, memorable thing did Holly say on the entire show? The only think I remember her saying, is her squealing, “look at meeeeeeee! look at me!” and “did you miss me?” All me, me, me, me.

People who are special think of others. Holly only thinks of herself.

Women who flirt get a lot of men. It’s not that difficult. Holly is known as the town bicycle. If she is so special, why has everyone had a ride?

It takes two mature people to make a commitment such as marriage..I believe Blake has this but Holly certainly does not.
How does it feel lying next to someone like Holly, Blake especially with her track record? Not something most men would like in a woman.

  43. You know, what’s weird, when Chris Harrison is asking Blake whether he loves Holly or not, he shakes his head no, while saying, “{yes, without a doubt.” His body language does not match up with this words.

Also the qualities he assigns to her don’t seem congruous. He admires her intelligence? Huh? Holly may be cute in a crazy, vacuous kind of way, but intelligent she is not — especially by Blake’s standards. He praises her “drive?” But Holly is his “pool of serenity.” she has no drive or goals beyond hooking up with men and being carefree and cutesy.

This guy is a liar through and though, but I believe he and Holly are as disgustingly sick and dishonest as each other. They truly deserve eacho ther, and after this fiasco, I can’t imagine either will have many options.

In this relationship, Blake holds all the power and cards — and I predict he will manipulate her for her contracts, get some free lovin, and then kick her to teh curb.

Poor dumb Holly will never see it coming.

I think it’s horrible what you did to Michael, especially that fact that you didn’t even have the decency to call him and inform him prior to the show..that just shows what type of person you are. Good luck in South Carolina with no job..just going to live off the dentist the rest of your life? (have fun with that) because the money you won certainly won’t last a life time.
